Michelle Crichton is an Ottawa-based poet, writer, and author of the new animated children’s book ‘The Adventures of Vylette Bunny and Michie: Love at First Bite’ which is her second published book.

A professionally trained teacher, she has spent the last 5 years passionately writing books with unique characters and morals which highlight her own personal experiences for readers to become involved.

Michelle has a B.A. and B.Ed. from the University of Ottawa.  She has been a lifelong writer and began writing poetry in the third grade.

From her observations of the outer world around her, Michelle uses her strong intuition and is constantly seeking to find meaning and inspiration then translating these abstract concepts into her own authentic, inner voice.
